Come enjoy an exciting afternoon and evening of great LIVE jazz and family entertainment, along the historic banks of the Merrimack River. This 7-hour, first-of-its-kind Merrimack Valley Jazz Festival will be staged at the Sampas Pavilion, in Lowell Massachusetts, on Saturday, August 13, beginning at 3:00 PM.

You will experience some of the most highly regarded, road-seasoned jazz musicians, many residing within the Merrimack Valley, with the balance of talent emanating from highly regarded musicians residing throughout the Greater Boston area. These all-star jazz ensembles will perform alternatively, on two stages, with a MVJF tour-de-force finale featuring the internationally acclaimed “Greg Hopkins Berklee College of Music Faculty Big Band.”

Check out our family-oriented “Kids Zone,” which will include a magic show with Greater New England’s “Magic Competition 2011” winner, Brian Christie, together with face painters, art sketchers, and more!
